佗死後，操頭風未除，曰：「佗能愈此，小人養吾病欲以自重，然吾不殺此子，終當不為吾斷此根原耳。」及後，愛子倉舒病困，操歎曰：「吾悔殺華佗，令此兒彊死也。」《襄陽府志》云：「華佗洞曉醫方，年百餘歲，貌有壯容，關羽鎮襄陽，與曹仁相拒，中流矢，矢鏃入骨，佗為之刮骨去毒，後為曹操所殺。」據
