諸梁，字子高
。葉音於官話音讀如「射」。
後人多讀葉，遂因之。
羋姓，
沈尹氏
。父戌，楚左司马。後世多稱葉公、
沈諸梁
。沈諸梁蓋沈尹諸梁之訛。
以其封邑在葉，故呼曰葉公。
楚太子建子
白公勝禦吳，既克，令尹召之。葉公諫令尹，不聽。勝竟作亂，殺令尹子西、
司馬子期
。公在葉，興兵討勝。遂克之。勝自縊。公兼令尹、司馬。旋讓位於王孫甯、
王孫寬，甯、寬，子西、子期之子也。
公薨於葉。子孫以邑為氏。是為葉氏
。今河南葉縣葉邑有其陵存焉。
