蕭瑀，字時文，
唐初宰相也，
巋
之子。
好經術，善屬文，性鯁急，鄙遠浮華。仕隋
歷內史侍郎、河池郡守。
唐高祖入京師，以郡來歸，寵任無比，封宋國公，拜中書令、尚書左仆射，
貞觀初與房玄齡、
杜如晦抵牾，辭旨疏躁，數廢復起。歷禦史大夫，參與朝政。然不能容人之短，後拜同中書門下三品，加特進，貞觀二十二年薨，謚貞褊。
