《西線無戰事》乃反戰之書也，
德國埃里希·瑪利亞·雷馬克所著。書內述第一次世界大戰德卒保羅參軍，戰於西線，居於戰壕之中，蟲鼠橫行，其友或傷或亡，蓋言戰爭之殘暴。終保羅身死於一九一八年十月，戰報竟言「西線無戰事」也，蓋視士卒命若螻蟻，一人傷亡不足道也。
埃里希·瑪利亞·雷馬克嘗於一次大戰，負傷於西線。其書多言戰時士卒慘狀，以此告人勿戰。
納粹德國當權之時，其書遭禁。
