泰山太守，隨司馬師平

景元四年，督三萬餘人自祁山趣武街橋頭，絕姜維歸路。維聞緒已塞道屯橋頭，乃從孔函谷入北道，欲出緒後；緒聞之，卻還三十里。維入北道三十餘里，聞緒軍卻，尋還，從橋頭還，緒趣截維，較一日不及。

鄧艾進至陰平，簡選精銳，欲與諸緒自江油趣成都。緒以本受節度邀姜維，西行非本詔，遂引軍向白水，與鐘會合。會欲專軍勢，密白緒畏懦不進，檻車征還，軍悉屬會。
