光緒十年生。早入粵
軍，歷營長、團長、旅長諸職也。
民國十四年後，歷建國粵軍第四師第七旅旅長、國民革命軍第一軍第三師師長、國民革命軍新編第一軍軍長、
福建省權知省主席事、獨立第四旅旅長兼隴海鐵路警備司令諸職。十七年後，以疾辭位之。後歷拜海陸空軍總司令部顧問、軍事參議院參議、
南昌行營及武漢行營參議諸職焉。
二十七年春，往西北軍務襄理，四月二十一日，因肺炎薨矣。
