。因家焉。牧弟齊，中山相。後徙襄平。爲遼東李氏。秦漢、魏晉以來公卿輩出。李牧之裔李左車，十四孫恢。恢曾孫李楷，避八王之亂，徙常山
。楷五子。幼子叡稱東祖李氏。第三子芬，第四子勁共稱西祖李氏。長子輯、第二子晃共稱南祖李氏。復有江夏李氏、漢中李氏。皆其衍支。唐世定著六房。入相十七人。南祖七人，東祖三人，西祖三人，遼東一人，江夏二人，漢中一人。

西祖:李楷第三子芬，第四子勁之子孫。
