遊戲，嬉也，娛也，乃人所作以怡情者。戯之可獨，亦可群。其類繁多，有棋、博、角抵、投壺等。棋，鬥智者；博，賭運者；角抵，較力者；投壺，比技者。戯之用，非為實事，乃娛情也。古時宴會，設戯助興，或競技，或比藝。盖人性嗜乐,好奇尚趣,自古有之。蓋人性嗜樂，好奇尚趣，自古有之。然戲易流於嬉，嬉易誨於佚，稍不慎則流於荒淫無度，有傷身敗德之虞。故君子於戲，當酌情而止，過猶不及，皆非中庸之道也。
