聘。秋，公子圍殺大司馬蒍掩，而取其室。三年（魯襄公三十一年），
衛襄公來聘。四年（魯昭公元年），公子圍聘於鄭
。且娶於公孫段氏。遂及諸侯之大夫會於虢、冬。公子圍將聘於鄭。未出竟。聞王有疾而還、十一月。至入問王疾。縊而殺之。遂殺其二子幕及平夏。殺大宰伯州犁於郟。葬王於郟謂之郟敖。公子圍即位為靈王
