鄭筱萸者，
福建福州人也，民國三十三年十月廿五生。少而敏，多機謀，與人交，西曆一九六八年畢業赴杭，為藥廠雜役，九四年升國家醫藥管理局局長，定神州造藥之規矩，攬六合經營之大權，行賄者車水馬龍，求謁者朝至暮歸，萸堂前接見，妻庭後收禮。造藥利潤，三分天下萸有其一；煉丹股份，五分資本萸佔其三。隨令四海之內，藥價暴漲，病患藥貴，無治而死者不可勝數。有子賣身醫父者，有父賣腎醫子者，有夫婦無錢買藥自盡者，萸荼毒生靈，民漸多有怨恨。
至零六年，國中藥案迭發，死人無算，人心惶惶，民有病不敢用藥，坐以待斃。萸之劣跡略現，其勢稍頓。零七年初，接舉報，控萸瀆職敗德，殘害生靈，上聞之，龍顏震怒，著紀委速查嚴辦，會監察部共審此案。萸門徒眾多，黨羽遍及海內，經營數載，盤根錯節。然正邪不兩立，紀委監察奉旨偵緝，天網恢恢,疏而不漏；萸之醜類，紛紛落網；為各保性命，競相指證萸之罪狀。民情激憤，黎元共誅。七月十日，鄭氏伏誅。
