隋煬帝為晉王，敞以庫直從畋驪山，王凌危逐鹿，諫曰：「大王冒垂堂，淫原獸，可乎？」王遂止。即位，頗見識擢。及幸江都，留守禁籞。
唐高祖入關，率子弟謁新豐，授將作少監，出為𣏌州刺史。貞觀初，坐受賕免。
