今阮咸圖
阮咸，但呼曰阮，或曰阮琴，漢時稱秦琵琶、
秦漢子，
晉阮咸仲容善彈之，故得今名。
武后時，
蜀
人蒯朗於古墓中得銅器，似琵琶而圓，時人莫識之，
元行沖曰「此阮咸所造，命匠人以木為之，以其形似月，聲似琴，名曰：月琴。」杜佑以晉竹林七賢圖，阮咸所彈，與此同，謂之阮咸，或謂咸豐肥，創此器以移琴聲，四絃十三柱，倚膝摐之，謂之擘，以代撫琴之艱，今人但呼曰「阮」。
今阮咸多分高音阮、小阮、中阮、大阮。
