福建永春人，後僑居馬來西亞柔佛居鑾
。
民國二十五年生。
嘗長
居鑾中華中學，次當第十三代。自西元一九八一年視事，凡十有六載。在事期間，確立獨中章程，遵董總之教典，以維中華文脈；廣募錢財以修校舍，擴招生徒至三千之眾。由是，鑾中遂躋身馬來西亞三大華校之列，聲名鵲起。
一九九六年，致仕，遜其位於林廷澤。身退，心不離校，復入董事部，襄理校務，於教育之功，未嘗稍歇。
二一三年冬十二月，忽遭車禍而歿，年七十有七。時人哀之。
