中東宗教也。其眾多庫爾德人

。此派本為波斯之教，復取諸教之言，遂自成一體。聖地在伊拉克北之舍坎
。以其義與伊斯蘭教相異，屢見迫害。
要旨
是教奉獨一之神。下有天使。神立亞當，命眾使跪拜。中有孔雀天使塔烏瑟梅雷克者，先亞當而生，是以不從。神嘉異之。晉為天使長。權現於凡間。雅茲迪人敬奉之。教眾有尊卑之別。曰木里德、舍伊克、皮爾。互不通婚。以外婚為罪。
