雨夜花者，一九三四年撰，
臺灣閩南語民謠也。譜鄧雨賢，詞周添旺
。
史
斯撰時，蓋童歌也，曰〈春天〉；一九三四，古倫美亞之工周添旺，以應酬故，之棧，聞酒女身世，悲而嘆，遂撰為詞，借〈春天〉調，遽傳唱全台。
雨夜花、雨夜花，受風雨吹落地；無人看見，每日怨慼，花謝落塗不再回。
按：「塗」者，土也。
是曲甚為台民喜，日府遂改詞為〈榮譽之軍夫〉，以期臺民得為天皇捐軀。
