韓康子，晉六卿也。六卿之范、中行亡，知氏最彊，索地於魏、韓、趙。趙不允，
周貞定王十四年知聯魏韓攻趙。趙固守晉陽，兩年不能下，引晉水淹城。趙襄子使孟談說魏韓，乃叛知，引水倒灌知軍，殺知襄子，夷知氏，遂分其地。
周考王三年，
晉哀公薨，
幽公立，
三家分晉地，留絳、曲沃予晉。韓國立，康子為始祖。
康子卒，子啟章立。
