餘蔚，本扶餘王子也，燕王慕容皝破扶餘得之，仕於十六國之
前燕、

。三七年，前燕敗於前秦，燕散騎侍郎餘蔚帥扶餘、
高句麗及上黨質子五百余人，夜，開鄴北門納秦兵，燕主慕容暐等奔龍城。燕亡，餘蔚入前秦，秦亂，復歸燕。三八四年，
慕容垂立後燕，以餘蔚為征東將軍、統府左司馬，封扶餘王。三九六年，餘蔚為太傅。
