楚武穆王三十五子，文昭王弟。
天福十二年，文昭王薨，嗣為楚王，拓跋恒數勸希廣以位奉其兄希萼，不從。周廷誨等言曰：「王能與之則已，不然，宜早除之」。泣曰：「吾兄也，焉忍殺之，分國而治可也」。在位三年，卒為希萼所害。
