鷹與狐，出自伊索寓言，編號第一。
故事云昔者有鷹
與狐
為友，相近而居，時相往來。一日，鷹飛而見狐子戲於野，鷹乃下而擒之，歸以餧其雛。狐歸而見其子不在，怒甚。乃往鷹巢，責鷹而求其子。鷹不肯還，曰：「吾高居於此，爾安能至乎？」狐悲憤，而智多計。乃往近寺，取火於壇
上，持之而躍，投於鷹巢。鷹巢遂焚，其雛皆死。
鷹見其雛死，悲甚。自知負狐，乃愧之曰：「吾誤爾子，罪大矣。」惜事已至此，悔之晚矣。
此故事之訓曰：己所不欲，勿施於人。
