黃巖，屬浙江省台州市
。所轄地形狹長，西高東低。境內河網密布，白練縱橫，誠然江南水鄉之貌也。其東亦有長潭一地，鑿而築壩，以溉溫嶺、黃巖、椒江、路橋諸地，富百畝農田，利潤黔首。
沿革
漢回浦縣地。隋為臨海縣地。唐上元二年析置永寧縣，屬台州，
天授元年改黃巖，以境內黃巖山而名。五代及趙宋因之。明清皆屬台州府。
