北齊後主諱緯，字仁綱，
齊武成帝之長子也。及武成入纂大業，大寧二年正月丙戌，立為皇太子。河清四年，武成禪位於帝。天統元年夏四月丙子，皇帝卽位於晉陽宮，大赦，改河清四年為天統。庚申，帝入鄴。辛酉，延宗與周師戰於晉陽，大敗，為周師所虜。甲子，皇太后從北道至。引文武一品已上入朱華門，賜酒食，給紙筆，問以禦周之方。群臣各異議，帝莫知所從。欲議禪位皇太子。先是望氣者言，當有革易，終是依天統故事，授位齊幼主
